But meanwhile, he got, his break in TV advertisement Nestle Munch and he had become a known face in all, over India.
In the year 2008, he came into notice of Balaji Telefilms and his mesmerizing personality and acting won the lead role for Pavitra Rishta as Manav Deshmukh. There his character was a mechanic and a mature and serious person who has some family values. From thereupon, his work and he both received recognition and much love from audiences. He registered so many awards because of his acting skills and playing wonderfully Manav. Although, his first serial was “Kis Des Mein nikla hoga chand”, where he had to play a side role.
In the year 2010, May, he joined Dance reality show, Zara Nachke Dikha 2.There along with his acting talent, his dance talent also got recognition. He performed so wonderfully there, it took no time winning millions of hearts. He was part of Mast Kalandar Boys team. He was doing both the shows at one time, Pavitra Rishta and Zara Nachke Dikha. There he dedicated his performance to his late mother in the year 2002 on the special day of Mother’s Day.

Sushant wanted to pursue a filmmaking course, so he left Pavitra Rishta in the year 2011 which later was played by Hiten Tejwani. Meanwhile, auditions were going on for the film Kai Po Che! He took one of the lead roles for the same movie accompanying two more skilled full stars Raj Kumar Rao and Amit Sadh. This movie was based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel ” Three Mistakes of My Life”. The movie did so wonder on wonderful on box- office and his character, Ishaan Bhatt is still today in the list of favourite characters.
Then he signed movie of Yashraj production, Shuddh Desi Romance. Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor were opposite to Sushant. His movie “MS Dhoni, the untold story” won billions of heart and made a different place for actors like Sushant Singh Rajput. This movie is one of Bollywood’s best movie under the list of “Perennial movies”! His acting skill there was stated by many that it is so tough to differentiate between him and Dhoni. His movie Kedarnath also shows his acting skill and his dedication. It was a plot of a love story and Sushant truly justified this character. No one can obviously forget his character Anirudh in the movie Chhichore opposite to Shraddha and he made his character lives for years and years.

He spent six beautiful years with Ankita Lokhande and then broken up with her. Then Kriti Sanon came into his life but that could not last forever. Sushant always remained open on his relationship whether it was Ankita or Kirti or Rhea.
